Nigerian CNG Webinar

CNG as an auto gas is here to stay. This was the shared conviction at the just concluded Nigerian CNG Webinar; a collaboration between the Oil Trading and Logistics (OTL) Africa Downstream and the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN). True to purpose, the webinar unpacked CNG as a cheaper and greener replacement fuel for automobiles in Nigeria. The Webinar equally dissected the spectrum of CNG’s untapped potential across the downstream energy value chain; spelling out opportunities for government, investors and consumers.

Nigeria LPG Assembly

With more than 1000% growth over the decade (2009-2019), LPG was the fastest growth area in the Nigerian energy industry. As at 2020, its coverage was barely 5% of its potential market. The investment opportunities in this clean energy option were and still are almost limitless.

OTL Africa Downstream, alongside other industry stakeholders, unbundled this under-explored treasure trove with its multiple market entry and expansion options at the “Nigeria LPG Assembly” that held on Tuesday, 2 June 2020.

The event was a whole-of-industry collaboration involving the National LPG Expansion Plan in the Office of the Vice-President of Nigeria, the National Gas Expansion Programme in the Office of the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, the Nigerian Gas Association, and the Nigerian LPG Association. Others were the Women in LPG (Nigeria), the Nigerian Association of LPG Marketers, and the Standards Organisation of Nigeria.
